Choose and Cut Your Own Tree

Walker’s Tree Farm opens its fields of trees the day after Thanksgiving and starting that Weekend and the first 2 weekends in December, the Belgium Horses come back to take you into our scenic 100 acres of trees. Our Customers love this option. There's something about choosing and cutting your own Christmas tree that brings such satisfaction to our customers. Of course, if you have trouble cutting your own tree one of our many staff would be more than happy to help you

Some of our customers love to spend the day visiting our farm, drinking hot chocolate, shopping in the gift shop, and enjoying the horse drawn wagon ride through the fields of evergreens. The moms love to spend the time in the gift shop choosing among many quality items to find presents for family and friends while the children and the dad are out doing the hard work of chopping down the tree!

We are open daily through the entire month of December, and we provide everything that you need to cut your own special tree, we have saws, measuring sticks, and tree carts to make it easier to bring your tree back in. We will then shake it, wrap it up and if you use one of our easy to use tree stands, we will drill it also...all free of charge. And after all that hard work is done and everybody has worked up an appetite, you can get some good eats at our food stand. Our customers love this option.

We even have customers who video tape their day at our farm and show it on You Tube! We love that! They add music and make it a memory for years to come. Some customers like to take pictures here and use them for their Christmas cards!

Trees for Troops
We also participate in the TREES FOR TROOPS program. Give something special this year...Buy a tree here and have it shipped to a military base or military family.

While there is no substitute for togetherness, the Trees for Troops program gives just a little joy to service members and their families during Christmas.

You may purchase a Tree at Walker’s Tree Farm or make a monetary donation and we will take your tree to the pick up point. From there it will go to a Military Base overseas or here in the US to a Military family or serviceman.
